Minutes of the Regular Meeting of
The Town of Lakewood Plan Commission
Lakewood Town Hall
May 13, 2013 6:00 PM
Present: Greg Weyers, Adriane Bartels, Lee Spletter, Josh Riebe and Loren Nelson.
Absent: Kevin Barthel, Scott VanLaanen
Visitors: Brian Calaway, Lori Calaway
1. Call to Order: Chairman Weyers called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.
2. Approval of Agenda: A motion was made by Bartels and seconded by Riebe to approve the agenda. All ayes, motion carried.
3. Approval of Minutes: A motion was made by Bartels and seconded by Riebe to approve the Minutes of the March 11, 2013 meeting. All ayes, motion carried.
4. Rezone, Conditional Use and CSM/Plat Proposals: 4A. A motion was made by Bartels and seconded by Nelson to recommend that the Town Board approve the final CSM for the Rymer property on Waubee Lake. All ayes, motion carried.
4B. A motion was made by Nelson and seconded by Riebe to recommend that the Town Board approve the rezone of the former Lakewood Kitchens Property from General Commercial to Light Industrial. All ayes, motion carried. A motion was made by Nelson and seconded by Bartels to recommend that the Town Board approve a Conditional Use Permit for Retail or Wholesale business involving sale of goods and/or services on the former Lakewood Kitchens Property. All ayes, motion carried.
5. New Business: Remember the 6 Towns Meeting Wednesday May 15, 2013 at the Doty Town Hall 6:30 PM.
6. Old Business: None.
7. Other Business: None.
8. Public Comment: None.
9. Next Meeting: Set for June 10, 2013 @ 6:00 PM. at the Town Administrative Offices.
10. Adjourn: There being no further business, it was moved by Bartels and seconded by Nelson, to adjourn. All ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:41 PM.
