Minutes of the Regular Meeting of
The Town of Lakewood Plan Commission

April 12, 2010 6:00 p.m.
Present: Gregg Weyers, Gigi Bartels, Ted Schuurmans, Lee Spletter, Scott VanLaanen, Loren Nelson
Absent: None
Visitors: Gary Zaringer, David Pitterle
Call to Order: Chairman Weyers called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Approve the Agenda: A motion was made by Schuurmans and seconded by VanLaanen to approve the agenda with the addition of item 6E Update on Rustic Road. All ayes motion carried.
Approval of Minutes: Motion was made by Schuurmans, and seconded by VanLaanen, to approve the Minutes of the March 8, 2010 meeting. All ayes motion carried..
Rezone, Conditional Use and CSM/Plat Proposals: A. Motion by Schuurmans and seconded by VanLaanen to have Gary Zaringer from Martenson and Eisele proceed with the CSM for the Camp Nan A Bo Sho property including the following changes: Waubee Lake Drive, change to 66ft. wide, take all from the South side to Neuman Lane. East of Neuman lane will be normal each side. Add septic lines to map. County will take care of the encroachments on North and Southwest. Show sewer and water lines across Qkonto.
All ayes, motion carried.
B. In the matter of rezone of 13.33 acres on West Forrester Road owned by Karen J. Pitterle. Motion was made by Bartels, seconded by Nelson to recommend rezoning of the property from forestry to rural residential, to the Town Board. All ayes, motion carried.
New Business: 5A. The camper at 14970 Hwy. F has a permit to be in place for one year to construct a permanent building. One year is up in June or July.
Old Business: 6A. Town of Lakewood has a Land Shark account, if the Plan Commission uses anything in this account it should be noted to the Town, so the account balance can be maintained.. There will be a $25 fee as approved at the last Plan Commission meeting.
6B. Outdoor wood furnace ordinance update on DNR information. Nothing further.
6C.Any new information on wireless network will be added to the May Agenda.
6D. Website, nothing new.
6E.. Rustic Roads, nothing new.
7. Other Business: Chairman Weyers will present the annual report on Plan Commission to the Town of Lakewood Annual Meeting.
Public Comment: None
Adjourn: There being no further business, it was moved by Bartels and seconded by Schuurmans to adjourn. All ayes, motion carried. meeting was adjourned at 7:17 pm.
Next meeting will be May 10, 2010 at 6:00 pm in the Town Administrative Offices.
