Land Use & Zoning Advisory Committee
for the Town of Lakewood

In attendance: Adriane Bartels, Lee Spletter Ted Schuurmans, and Scott Vanlannen.
Excused: Raoul Schottky, Greg Weyers

Bartels called meeting to order at 6:00 pm.
Motion by Spletter, second by Schuurmans to approve the agenda; motion was carried.
Motion by Schuurmans, second by Spletter to accept the minutes of the April meeting as presented with the following corrections � correct the spelling of �Adrian� to Adriane; motion was carried.
New Business �
Dobbratz presented a CSM for Leonard/Mary Tarkowski on Archibald Lake Road. Motion to approve the CSM, provided that the street width be increased to 33 feet from 30 feet, made by Spletter, second by Vanlannen; motion was carried.
Preliminary layout of the McCauslin Pines (Hanson/Vandenelzen property) development plat � off CTH F � west of Emily Lane. Discussion on the elevation of the proposed street relating to the adjacent property owner. Motion by Spletter, second by Vanlannen to accept the preliminary layout. Bartels abstained.
Spletter reported that representatives from the towns in the area will meet on the 20th of May at the Town of Riverview town hall to discuss items of interest to the towns in the area. One item of interest will be to develop a task force to evaluate and study bike trails throughout the area.
