WI Land presented by Bruce Hobright for the Lake John 40 subdivision. They would like to have the property rezoned from Forestry to Rural Residency 2 for the subdivision of the forty acres of land. This fits into the Lakewood comprehensive plan. Old Business Discussion on various items that the Town of Lakewood should work on and try to get implemented. Is the land for the wastewater treatment been rezoned? No one knew. (At the town board meeting, Lee stated that the Town had notified the Lakewood Sanitary District last spring and requested they take care of this matter. To date, no action has been taken.) Is the community center building sewered? (Don stated at the board meeting that the building is sewered.) I commented that the Town Board should require all new surveys/plats in the areas adjacent to the present Sanitary District be annexed to the Sanitary District. As part of the Committees concerns regarding lake, stream, and groundwater protection, it would be in the best interest of the Town to encourage that sewer service be provided through the Sanitary District. Has the Town determined the layout of the parking area (McDonald property)? What is the status of the acquisition of this property? It is the Committee's concern regarding STH 32 safety issues and the possible need for additional land acquisitions and easements. Status of public gatherings on private property. Lee stated that the County Sheriff is looking into it and will prepare changes if required or needed.
Motion by Schuurmans to adjourn, second by Weyers; motion carried at 7:25PM.
