Regular Meeting of the
Land Use & Zoning Advisory Committee
for the Town of Lakewood


August 11, 2003
6:00 PM


In attendance: Adriane Bartels, Lee Spletter, Greg Weyers, Ted Schuurmans, and Raoul Schottky. Scott Vanlannen was excused.

Guest(s): Mike Rzepka, and Casey Swanson, also were 4 guests for the Anderburg-Strohm property that I did not get their names.

Bartels called meeting to order at 6:01 pm.

Motion by Weyers, second by Schottky to approve the agenda; motion was carried.

Motion by Spletter, second by Weyers to accept the minutes of the May meeting, motion was carried.

New Business �
� Aaron & Associates tabled as nobody was in attendance yet.

� Discussion regarding the sawmill on the Robert Prasser property on County Road �F�.

� WI Land � a new map was mailed to Secretary and it meets the standards for the road and was OK�ed.

� Adriane Bartels attended the Lakes Survey Meeting of the Ad Hoc Lakes Classification Committee and gave a short report on the meeting. There was a lot of discussion and nothing really settled but the county will do the classification and that there will be 4 types of lakes.

� Taken from the Table: Aaron & Associates (Casey) presented a Certified Survey Map of the Anderburg- Strohm property on Pine Ridge Lake and a rezone from RR to R1 of the property. Rezone was recommended for approval by a motion by Schottky and 2nd by Schuurmans and carried. Questioned was the road to the property that has to pass thru U.S.F.S. Lands as a Limited Liability Easement. Does the get gas tax and what about maintenance of the road? CSM was tabled until we could get a clarification on the U.S.F.S. road easement.

� Retracement for Mark Wierman property located on West Wheeler Lake Lane was taking 2 lots (non-conforming) into one lot. Motion by Schottky, 2nd by Spletter, motion carried with one abstaining vote.

� Jefery CSM was resubmitted and was recommended for approval by Schottky, 2nd by Spletter, motion carried.



Old Business

� Old business was mixed with new business as discussion went along.



Motion by Weyers to adjourn, second by Schuurmans; motion carried at 6:59PM.
