Regular Meeting of the Land Use & Zoning Advisory Committee for the Town of Lakewood
November 10, 2003
In attendance: Adriane Bartels, Raoul Schottky, Lee Spletter, Ted Schuurmans, Greg Weyers, and Scott VanLaanen.
Guests: Bruce Hobright and Mike Rzepka
Chairperson Adriane Bartels called the meeting to order at 6:09 pm.
Ted Schuurmans moved to approve the agenda. Motion seconded by Greg Weyers. Motion passed.
Ted Schuurmans moved to accept the meeting minutes from. Greg Weyers seconded to motion, motion passed.
New business:
� Wisconsin Land for Lake John Forty, Bruce Holbright spokesperson. Road is up finished but with a 70� round Cul de Sac as requested by the county. Also they had to deed the property that Mc Cabe Road is on the property to the Town, as it was never deeded to the Town. Road is cleared to 66� width and graveled. Motion by Ted Schuurmans second by Scott VanLaanen to recommend to the Town to accept the CSM, Carried. � Scott VanLaanen representing his mother Pat Rockteschel requested approval of a rezone of the property at 15219 County �F� from R1 to Commercial for a small business shop. This fits into the Comprehensive Plan. A motion by Greg Weyers, second by Raoul Schottky to recommend to the Town to approve the rezone. Motion carried. � Phil Hartman, regarding the Airport canceled at this time.
Old business: � The storm sewer in the Town have been discussed for some time at our meeting and a Master Plan has been suggested several time to the Town Board. With the future reconstruction of Hwy �F� and 32 coming up in the near future (starting in the spring of 2004) it is recommended that the Town should put into the budget an amount of money to have a Storm Sewer Plan developed due to the new construction of highways and building in the Town of Lakewood. Would recommend about $25,000 be put in the budget. � The Chemical Analysis of the Named Lakes in the Township would require an amount in the Town Budget. $10,000 would be needed to be budgeted to do the project. A possible 80% aid grant will have to be applied for by February 2004 for is project. Donated labor doing the testing and samplings can be taken off the Towns share. � Modification of the Comprehensive Plan in the area of the subdivided 40 acres near the old Ski Hill needs to be done and incorporated into future planning. � Report by Adriane Bartels regarding the County Lakes Classification Committee that they are running into lots of problems and are being steered in one direction, which is much more restrictive in regulations. � The trailers on the Wurzer property in the Waubee Lake area is being looked into by Oconto County Board.
